 | Back in January of this year my nephew Christopher convinced my sister Kim to ride the 25 mile tour of the MS Coast the Coast Bike tour, and singed up to the ride. After securing some pledges and telling everyone he knows that he was ridding, he was informed the he could not ride in the tour because he is under the age of 12. I found this to be very odd as 4 years ago when I started riding the 170 a 9 year old completed the 170. Yep you read right a 9 year road 170 miles. So I contacted the Mid Jersey chapter of the MS Society to ask what was up. They informed me that this was a decision of the National MS Society and not their decision, and Christopher could not ride. Christopher was not deterred by this and continued to get sponsors and vowed to ride the 25 miles anyway. Yesterday he did just that. | Coast the Coast Mini
True to his word Christopher rode his 25 miles to earn his pledges in what I have dubbed the Coast the Coast Mini.
The ride started in Allaire State park on the Edgar Felix Bike Path, went into Manasquan where we road part of the Coast the Coast route, and then returned to the Bike Path.
